Tamara combines writing with owning and running Tales on Moon Lane Children’s Bookshop, twice winner of the Children’s Independent Bookshop of the Year. TOML was voted one of London’s top five bookshops.

Tamara has been a judge on The Costa, The UKLA and The Banford Boase book awards.

Tamara has wide experience of the importance of author events in engaging children in reading. with the aid of top children’s entertainer, Gilbert Giggles, Tamara has done over one hundred and eighty school author events for the Amazing Esme series for Hodder and the Dylan’s Amazing Dinosaur Series for Simon and Schuster.
