Kirsty Cornell is a writer based in the Borders of Scotland. She has spent much of her life travelling, and has lived in Nigeria, Hong Kong, Australia, Brazil, Shanghai and Singapore.

When she’s not writing, Kirsty loves gardening, classical music, cooking, knitting and doing tapestry. She is never happier than when she is in the Hebrides, and escapes there as often as she can and which has been the inspiration for his first novel based on a true story and set on a Hebridean island during the Second World War.
