Despite her love of art since childhood, Jenny had no formal training and began her career as an actress, only returning to painting when her own children were at school.  She now lives in Sussex with her husband and quirky Labrador, working from her shed in the garden.

In 2016 Jenny illustrated Miranda Hart’s book Peggy and Me, published by Hodder and Stoughton and in 2018 Jenny wrote and illustrated the Little Moment’s for Children series also published by Hodder and Stoughton. Things My Daddy Does by Paul Manwaring and illustrated by Jenny was released in December 2023.
